Allied Universal is hiring Professional Security Guards for a part-time role in Simcoe, Ontario. The position requires patrolling, access control, CCTV knowledge, and strong customer service skills.

Shifts cover days, evenings, and weekends with a competitive hourly rate and a focus on safety and professional conduct. Ideal candidates hold a valid Ontario security guard license, First Aid/CPR Level C, and at least 1 year of patrolling experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of patrolling experience.
• Familiarity with access control systems and alarm.
• Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Valid Ontario security guard license.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 24 hours per week.
• Valid First Aid and CPR - Level C.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.

Job Title: Security Guard - Part-Time Position

Job Location: Simcoe, ON

Pay Rate: $19.09 per hour

Shifts: Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thur, Fri & Sat (08:00-00:00 hrs), Various Shifts

Saturdays & Sundays - (12:00pm - 00:00am)

Requirement:

• Familiarity with access control systems and alarm.

• Experience with report writing and note-taking.
• Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Valid Ontario security guard license
• Must be eligible to work in Canada upto 24hours per week.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience

Specific Duties Performed and Essential Functions :

• Access control for the facility/area
• Present a polished, professional, customer friendly image at all times
• Ability to manage conflicts and incidents and to deescalate
• Patrolling and following protocols as per the post orders, which may include indoor or outdoor patrols, etc.
• Ensure that the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site Emergencies
• Undertake site specific training, follow direction and guidance from Site Supervisor or Manager
• Demonstrate goodjudgment, common sense and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents
• Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Operate/monitor security room equipment including but not limited to computers, CCTV cameras, radio, etc.
• Perform in-car/vehicle patrols
