This Retail Sales Specialist role is ideal for an individual who can work effectively with store management to increase retail sales and execute client-driven merchandising that meet the client's expectations. The sales representative will need to be outgoing, friendly, and capable of driving sales and brand awareness for our client's products at major retail locations. You will engage and educate customers on their next purchase of leading brands in retail. The ideal candidate is independent, self-motivated, ambitious, and driven to succeed. Compensation: CAD 23.00 per hour

Responsibilities

1. Meet client and company objectives by maintaining full distribution on all authorized SKUs.
2. Communicate effectively both internally with company management and externally with all customers.
3. Increase sales volume through promotional activities, including selling, building displays, creating themed displays for holiday/special promo events, and making plan-o-gram adjustments as needed.
4. Maintain client objectives by ensuring all authorized client items on the shelf have accurate tags and removing un-saleable or out-of-code products.
5. Authorize items to meet client shelf schematic standards, including tagging, rotating, and placing POS materials.
6. Achieve client goals by effectively managing stores within your territory and executing projects and standards.
7. Complete accurate and timely paperwork such as reports, recaps, itineraries, timesheets, and expense reports.

Qualifications

1. Education Level: Required: High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
2. Preferred: 1-2 years of experience in retail or food sales.
3. Ability to work independently and prioritize duties with minimal supervision to meet deadlines.
4. Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Word, Excel, and Internet usage.
