Job summary

FIKA Herbal Goods Inc. in the North York/Toronto area seeks a Retail Sales & Delivery Associate to deliver first‑class service in-store and to customers’ doorsteps. You’ll educate guests on products, promote promotions, and help maintain a clean, organized retail environment.

Responsibilities include accurate order handling, on‑time deliveries, adherence to regulatory standards, and teamwork with store leadership. Prior delivery/logistics exposure and cannabis certs are a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License with clean record and proofs of insurance.
• Provincial Cannabis Certification required or pursued.
• Delivery/logistics experience preferred and 6 months minimum.
• Strong guest service mindset and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service by greeting guests, providing product guidance, and building strong relationships.
• Support sales through recommendations and promotions with product knowledge.
• Maintain store appearance, merchandising, and inventory accuracy.

Job Overview

The Retail Sales & Delivery Associate plays a dual role in delivering a consistent and elevated guest experience across both the retail floor and scheduled deliveries. This position is responsible for engaging guests with knowledgeable, professional service in-store while also ensuring orders are delivered safely, accurately, and in a timely manner. Acting as a brand ambassador at every touchpoint, this role supports sales growth, product education, and promotional initiatives, while also contributing to overall store operations including merchandising, cleanliness standards, receiving, and inventory suppor t.

Competencies and Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License -Full 'G' (ON) or Class 5 (BC, AB, SK, MB)
• Clean Driver’s Abstract and Clear Criminal Background Check
• Personal insured vehicle with valid insurance coverage permitting delivery (business use). Proof of insurance is required during onboarding .
• Smartphone with data plan (and comfort using apps/technology)Strong guest service mindset with excellent communication skills
• Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented with a positive attitude
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and basic math skills
• High level of integrity and ability to work independently and as part of a team

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service by greeting guests, providing product guidance, and building strong relationships
• Support sales through recommendations, promotions, and a strong understanding of products and accessories
• Maintain high product knowledge to ensure accurate, compliant guest education
• Assist with merchandising, store setup, and maintaining a clean, organized retail environment
• Process transactions accurately while following all inventory and operational procedures
• Work closely with store leadership and team members to support overall store success and guest experience
• Safely complete deliveries, including order handling, loading, transportation, and on-time delivery to guests
• Follow assigned routes, schedules, and all delivery procedures in accordance with training and regulatory requirements
• Communicate clearly with guests and dispatch, escalating issues or concerns as needed
• Maintain professionalism, a safe driving record, and full compliance with company and regulatory standards
