What we are looking for:

Currently, we are hiring a permanent Part Time Retail Sales Consultant that is polite, well-spoken, and outgoing to join our Vaughan team! Our team members practice a consultative approach to customer interactions. We will equip you with the knowledge to understand workplace safety requirements, so that you can provide solutions that best meet your customer's needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Engage customers actively on the sales floor, offering assistance and guidance as a knowledgeable representative.
• Achieve sales targets by following our sales and service standards.
• Provide detailed and accurate product information.
• Process transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Address customer concerns attentively, resolving issues or escalating as needed.
• Assist with visual merchandising, store displays, and layout.
• Help with packing, unpacking shipments, and fulfilling customer orders efficiently.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Flexible availability, including weekday evenings until 8:30 pm and weekends until 6:30 pm. Full-day availability is not required.
• Ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Capability to climb ladders safely when needed.
• Comfortable standing for long periods, bending, and moving.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to connect with diverse customers and team members.
• Attention to detail for accurate sales processing.
• Proficient in computer skills, including POS systems and scanners.
• Experience in retail, sales, or customer service is an asset.
