Job summary

Pro Builders Supply Ltd. in Alberta is seeking a Retail Sales Associate for a 1-year term, 32 hours per week, to cover a temporary leave. You will deliver friendly service, advise on products, handle ticketing and restocking, and contribute to a well-organized store environment.

The role requires customer service experience, physical ability to lift 50 pounds, and readiness to work holidays and weekends, with opportunities for training and growth within Home Hardware.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is required or highly preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk all day.
• POS system experience is an asset for ticketing and sales.
• Retail background is an asset; willingness to learn product lines.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous, and efficient service to customers.
• Advise on merchandise, assist with ticketing and replenishment.
• Cycle counting and general housekeeping of shelves.
• Support loss prevention, merchandising, restocking, and trends awareness.

About the Role

We're currently seeking a Retail Sales Associate for a 1-year term position (32 hours per week) to provide coverage for an employee leave of absence.

Our Retail Sales Associate provides prompt courteous and efficient service to customers, advising them on appropriate merchandise and related items and ticketing and replenishing merchandise; cycle counting, general housekeeping of shelves, loss prevention, merchandising, restocking and staying current with trends in the industry related to his/her product/section of the store.
