Job summary

Mind Games in Oshawa is hiring Retail Sales Associates to help customers find the perfect games, puzzles, and toys. You’ll share product knowledge, engage with shoppers, and ensure a fun, memorable visit in a fast-paced, playful environment.

• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and lift to 20 pounds

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly, answer questions, build confidence, and recommend products tailored to their needs, delivering exceptional customer service.
• Operate the POS system efficiently, process payments accurately, and issue receipts.
• Keep the store organized and visually appealing, restock merchandise, and ensure inventory levels meet customer demand.
• Serve as a product expert, providing detailed information and guidance about our games, puzzles, and toys.
• Act as a trusted advisor, offering advice on product selection, usage, care, and maintenance.
• Consistently meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals to support store profitability.
• Maintain a professional and welcoming demeanor, assisting customers promptly and ensuring a smooth checkout experience.
• Serve as a role model for customer service and attitude, supporting and inspiring fellow sales associates.

You are best suited for this role if you have the following qualifications and skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in sales, customer service, or retail.

Pay Rate: $17.60 per hour

This is a replacement position.
