Job description

Location: Cambridge, ON

Shift: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 5pm-8pm. 9 hours per week

Pay rate: $20.87 per hour

Responsibilities

• Serve customers efficiently and courteously on the telephone and in person
• Upselling and cross-selling corporate products and services
• Handle customer complaints and inquiries
• Resolve problem shipments and equipment/technology challenges
• Collaborate with Head Office, management, drivers, warehousing staff, account managers, and other partners to ensure excellent customer service
• Build positive relationships with customers, vendors, tenants, and key contacts
• Assist customers with shipping details and account issues using technology
• Load, scan, log, and call resolution freight
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders
• Maintain personal responsibility and adhere to all policies, safety standards, and attendance requirements
• Represent Purolator values to customers and partners
• Lift up to 70 lbs., stand for 3-hour intervals, and demonstrate professional communication skills
• Possess 3-12 months of customer service, retail, and technology/POS system experience (preferred)
