Job summary

PetSmart’s Process Lead (Retail Operations Lead) drives operational excellence in stores, overseeing merchandising, inventory control, pet care operations, opening/closing, and maintaining a safe, organized environment.

This full-time role requires 2+ years of retail supervisory experience, flexibility in schedule including evenings and weekends, and proficiency with store systems. You will lead by example, coach associates, and ensure a positive experience for pet parents.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail supervisory experience in a customer-focused environment.
• Full-time availability required, flexibility in schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Proficiency in computer applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to react under pressure and maintain composure.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide sales associates in merchandise handling and training on product knowledge and presentation standards.
• Delegate and validate completion of daily tasks; oversee associates when on duty.
• Execute merchandise strategies, manage inventory levels and conduct store audits.
• Operate POS and handle cash, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies.
• Maintain store standards and uphold policies, procedures and ethics.
