Job summary

The Pioneer Co-Operative Association Limited is seeking a retail associate in Swift Current, SK. You will assist with sales across departments, operate the cash register, stock shelves, and maintain a clean, well-merchandised store while delivering friendly customer service.

Responsibilities include stocking, opening/closing procedures, gas pump service, forklift operation, POS usage, and other duties as assigned. Must be bondable and available for evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Good customer service skills and ability to interact with the public.
• Forklift operation capability.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
• Ability to perform cash handling and operate the POS system.
• Willingness to work all shifts including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist with sales in all departments as required.
• Accurate operation of cash register and cash-related duties.
• Ordering and receiving responsibilities.
• Stocking shelves and keeping display area clean and well-merchandised.
• Open and close procedures and safety compliance.
• Provide gas pump service and operate the point of sale system.
• Operate forklift.
• Other duties as assigned.
