Job summary

The Pioneer Co-Operative Association Limited is seeking a Grocery Clerk - Logistics Driver (Casual) to support daily deliveries and store replenishment in the Swift Current area.

You will be responsible for delivering products to Pioneer locations, conducting pre-shift vehicle checks, and reporting any issues to management. Evening and weekend work is required; safety policies apply.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to Pioneer locations inside and outside of Swift Current.
• Arrange commodities for delivery and pickups as needed.
• Return mail and Dunnage to Swift Current during unloading at destinations.
• Perform pre-shift inspections and ensure vehicle is fueled and oiled.
• Advise manager of any vehicle problems.
• Other duties as assigned.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Will be responsible for delivery of products to any of Pioneer locations inside and outside of Swift Current.
• Commodities for delivery and pick up will very on the needs for the day.
• While unloading product at each destination the mail from those locations along with any and all Dunnage must be returned to Swift Current.
• Will ensure that a pre-inspection is done at the beginning of each shift, and vehicle is filled with gas and oil checked.
• Will advise manager of any vehicle problems.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Must be to work efficiently, independently and assume responsibility. Must portray a pleasant and co-operative attitude and take pride in your work. Lifting involved. Must be able to work evenings and weekends. This position is classified as a Safety Sensitive Position and therefore is subject to our Alcohol & Substance policy as a condition of employment.
