Job summary

Marketsupport Canada is seeking a part-time Retail Merchandiser to service the Midland, ON territory. You will travel to local retailers to perform merchandising for nationally recognized brands, build and maintain displays, stock shelves, and provide feedback via our reporting App.

This role offers 5–20 hours per month with a starting wage of $17.95 per hour plus mileage reimbursement. Training is provided and independence in scheduling is valued; candidates should have a valid driver’s license

Qualifications

• Available to work during business hours (Mon–Fri, roughly 8am–6pm).
• Able to manage a small local territory and complete all assignments.
• Self-motivated, independent worker with problem-solving mindset.
• Professional demeanor and ability to build positive relationships.

Responsibilities

• Travel to local retailers to perform merchandising for brands.
• Take pictures and provide feedback through the reporting App.
• Complete assignments accurately and on time.
• Coordinate and map territory based on deadlines and efficiency.
• Develop and maintain relationships with store staff and managers.
• Provide merchandising services such as planograms and displays.
• Install POP and stock/tidy shelves, auditing as needed.

What we are looking for in a candidate:

• Available to work during business hours (M-F, 8am to 6pm roughly).
• Ability to manage a small local territory and dedicated to completing all assignments.
• Can roll with the punches and handle a diversity of tasks to complete.
• Comfortable discussing, promoting and selling additional products.
• Smart phone/ computer savvy.
• Self-motivated, independent worker and a problem solver.
• Highly organized and strong attention to detail.
• Professional demeanor and the ability to build positive relationships.

Requirements for the position:

• Access to smartphone or tablet (Android/ Apple) and home computer with Wi-Fi.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable automobile.
• May be required to lift 15lbs and occasionally up to 50lbs.
• May occasionally require steel toe shoes.
• Retail merchandising experience is a plus.
