Job summary

Acosta Group in Canada is seeking a Full-time Retail Merchandiser to support in-store execution for our leading CPG client. You will stock shelves, build displays, ensure product availability and planogram compliance.

The role requires merchandising or sales experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work independently. Proficiency with Outlook, Excel and Word and the physical ability to lift 30–50 pounds are also needed. Company benefits available.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising or sales experience.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Ability to work independently and engage effectively with others.
• Proficiency in Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Physical ability to lift and move up to 30-50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Implement in-store merchandising activities based on plan-o-grams and schematic layouts, including resets.
• Plan coverage, set priorities by reviewing call objectives, follow-ups from previous calls, organize required tools and materials to ensure deadlines are met.
• Ensure promotional display compliance, identify opportunities, correct voids and out of stocks by merchandising shelves/displays, identify locations to secure incremental displays, place POS materials on shelves/displays, check product dates and rotate stock.
• Communicate effectively with store staff regarding tasks, sales activities, promotions, client objectives and work completed.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain an effective working relationship with store staff to meet company and client objectives.
