Sharpe Farm Supplies Ltd in Desboro, Ontario is seeking a Retail Manager to lead store operations and drive sales growth. You will oversee daily activities, mentor staff, and execute merchandising strategies to create an engaging shopping experience for customers.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of retail leadership experience, strong merchandising and budgeting skills, and a passion for farming. Excellent customer service, communication, and proficiency with POS systems are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail sales, store management, or sales management.
• Availability to work weekdays with occasional Saturdays.
• Strong background in merchandising, purchasing, budgeting, inventory control, and retail marketing strategies.
• Excellent customer service skills, paired with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency in POS systems, Prosoft (or similar retail software), and MS Office.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• A passion for farming and/or agriculture.

• Proficiency in POS systems, Prosoft (or similar retail software), and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), along with basic math skills for cash handling and pricing calculations
• Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
