Job summary

TJX Canada is seeking a Loss Prevention Store Investigator to maintain a safe shopping environment. You will deter theft, use CCTV surveillance, and work with regional teams to report incidents and pursue investigations.

This role supports multiple stores and may involve travel within the region. Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma, a security license where applicable, and prior experience in Retail Loss Prevention or related fields.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience; Law and Security/Loss Prevention Diploma preferred.
• Provincial security license required (where applicable); valid driver’s license preferred with access to a vehicle and good driving record.
• Strong work ethic and passion for working with people; relevant experience in Retail Loss Prevention, Military, Security, or Law Enforcement encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Deter, detect, and apprehend individuals attempting to steal or commit fraud; report incidents and collaborate with police.
• Use CCTV and floor walking for store surveillance; collaborate with ORC Investigators on external losses.
• Report internal dishonesty to Regional Internal Investigators; support Supply-chain Investigators on losses.
• Collaborate with Loss Prevention Remote Investigators to identify external incidents and report shrink opportunities within stores.
