Job summary

Canadian Tire in Blenheim, Ontario is seeking a Supervisory/Department Manager to lead a department with a focus on customer service and retail execution. You will report to the Store Manager and help drive daily operations, staff performance, and a positive shopping experience.

The role requires supervising staff, planning schedules, and maintaining department standards to meet business goals, with opportunities for training and career development within a family-oriented store environment.

Qualifications

• Supervisory/leadership experience or relevant managerial background.
• Ability to work in shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Approachable and customer-focused demeanor.
• Ability to stand/walk up to 8 hours and lift/carry items as needed.
• Strong planning, organization and delegation skills.
• Clear communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience with cash handling/point-of-sale systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain department presentation to meet customer expectations.
• Plan and manage daily/weekly activities and seasonal changes.
