Job summary

More Than Just Feed Inc is seeking a Retail Delivery Driver to liaise between customers and internal teams, ensuring accurate, timely delivery of packaged products and compliant trip sheets.

You will follow routes, perform vehicle inspections, and support route planning and customer service. The role requires a Class 1 license, forklift certification and 3+ years of driving, with MS Office skills a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 driver’s license with a clean drivers abstract (completed annually).
• Industrial Lift Truck (Forklift) Safety Certification.
• 3 or more years of Class 1 driving experience.
• Basic MS Office skill levels.

Responsibilities

• Offer exceptional on-farm customer service.
• Ensure the picked order reflects the sales order prior to departure from the location.
• Follow route instructions to deliver orders accurately, efficiently, and safely.
• Communicate with the Sales Coordinator team to support customer service, route planning, and delivery times.
• Conduct routine truck inspections and maintain delivery records.
• Participate in cross-functional teamwork and knowledge transfer.
• Assist with customer feedback to ensure timely closeout.
• Follow documented best practices and work instructions.
• Use collaborative methods to identify and resolve delivery issues and suggest improvements.
• Participate in onboarding and training for related systems and tools.

The Role

The Retail Delivery Driver is accountable for liaising between our customers and our internal teams to facilitate the accurate, timely, and efficient delivery of packaged products. They are responsible for processing shipped orders and completing trip sheets and logbooks in a timely manner, meeting regulatory requirements.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities

• Offer exceptional on-farm customer service
• Ensure the picked order reflects the sales order prior to departure from the location
• Follow route instructions to ensure packaged product orders are delivered accurately, efficiently, and safely
• Communicate closely with the Sales Coordinator team to support customer service, route planning, and delivery times
• Conduct routine pre/post trip truck inspections and maintain accurate delivery records
• Actively participate in a cross-functional team approach through open communication and effective transfer of knowledge and expertise
• Assist with customer feedback to ensure timely closeout
• Follow documented best practices and work instructions
• Use collaborative methodology to anticipate, identify, and resolve delivery-related process issues and inefficiencies and suggest improvements
• Participate in team member onboarding and training for related systems and tools to ensure they are set up for success
• Maintain a clean working environment
