Job summary

Sharpe Farm Supplies Ltd. in Guelph, Ontario is seeking a DZ Delivery Driver to deliver agricultural products to local farms and provide excellent customer service. This full-time role offers weekday hours with evenings and weekends at home, contributing to our community and supporting farm operations.

You will operate safely, load heavy items, plan efficient routes, and maintain delivery records while working closely with warehouse staff to meet schedules and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Valid DZ license preferred with clean abstract and CVOR.
• Minimum 1 year of delivery driving experience preferred.
• Ability to regularly lift and handle up to 25 kg (55 lbs).
• Strong communication and commitment to customer service.
• Reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations or forklift is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport agricultural products directly to customer farms.
• Load and unload products, including 25kg (55lbs) feed bags, at delivery sites.
• Plan and navigate efficient routes to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service and communicate delivery details with farmers.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections for safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and logs as required by regulations.
• Communicate with warehouse staff and management to keep delivery schedules on track.
• Adhere to traffic laws, safety standards and company policies on and off the road.

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport agricultural products directly to customer farms

• Provide friendly, professional customer service and communicate directly with farmers to confirm delivery details
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure road safety and compliance
• Maintain accurate delivery records and logs as required by regulations
• Communicate clearly and effectively with warehouse staff and management to keep delivery schedules on track
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety standards, and company policies while on and off the road

Skills & Requirements

• Valid DZ commercial driver's license preferred, with a clean abstract and CVOR
• Minimum 1 year of delivery driving experience preferred (agricultural experience is a plus)
• Physical ability to regularly lift and handle heavy products (up to 25kg / 55lbs)
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Familiarity with warehouse operations or forklift operation is considered an asset
• DZ delivery driving: 1 year (preferred)
• Class DZ Licence (preferred)
