Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers with questions and recommendations, manage sales at the cash register, stock shelves, unload merchandise, and keep the store clean and presentable.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, prior retail or service experience, and strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operating documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks; stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful store environment.
• Keep areas clean and presentable; bathrooms cleaned and restocked.
• Other duties as assigned.
