Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Moncton, NB is seeking a Receiving Outfitter to support backend operations. You will handle receiving, inventory control and replenishment to keep shelves stocked and pricing accurate.

Reporting to the Back Room Department Manager, you will count incoming shipments, stock merchandise to the floor, and assist with merchandising tasks. A physical role requiring steel-toed boots and PAL eligibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Detail-oriented with accurate work.
• Customer service oriented team player.
• Excellent communication with customers and contacts.
• Physically able to stand for long periods and move boxes.
• Steel-toed boots required.
• Must be able to obtain a PAL license.

Responsibilities

• Receive P.O.s into the building and count against packing slip.
• Physically count all incoming packages and verify against packing slip.
• Conduct stocking from back room to the sales floor.
• Repackage and stock newly arriving Cabela’s Canada products.
• Replenish all departments including facing and merchandise hanging.
• Perform floor checks: cleaning, pricing updates, signage, and inventory checks.
• Assist with merchandise purges when necessary.

Job description

Summary:

Reporting to the Back Room Department Manager, a Receiving Outfitter is responsible for backend operations including receiving, warehouse, inventory control, replenishment, stocking and maintenance/housekeeping departments

Responsibilities:

• Systematically receive P.O.’s that come into the building
• Physical count of all packages coming into the building and verify count with packing slip
• Conduct stocking activities from back room to sales floor
• Perform tasks including folding, repackaging, sorting, facing and re-hanging of newly arriving Cabela’s Canada product
• Conduct general replenishment of all departments including facing, hanging merchandise
• Conduct floor checks including cleaning, updates to pricing and signage, inventory, verification of min/max settings, ensuring that shelves are full and that security tags are in place
• Assist with merchandise purges when necessary

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy of work
• Customer service oriented team player
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers and other business contacts in a courteous, positive and professional manner
• Physically able to stand for extended periods, and to move and handle boxes of merchandise
• Steel toes work boots are required
• Must be able to obtain a PAL license
