Job summary

Loblaw Companies Limited is seeking an Asset Protection professional to guard our stores across Canada. You will deter theft, investigate incidents, and work with law enforcement to protect people, property, and company assets in fast-paced grocery and pharmacy environments.

We value integrity, professional presence, and strong communication as you partner with store leadership to reduce shrink and uphold security policies and provincial regulations. A licensing and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Provincial Security Guard License and knowledge of Canadian law.
• Experience with CCTV and surveillance tools; proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication, integrity and professional presence.
• Retail experience in grocery/pharmacy environments is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Protect & Deter - actively prevent theft and policy violations with a visible presence.
• Apprehend offenders safely following procedures.
• Investigate and collaborate with law enforcement when required.
• Reduce shrink by identifying loss trends and preventive strategies.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and provincial regulations.
• Adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced retail environment.
