Qualifications

Experience in a public accounting firm or restructuring practice.
CPA or close to completion.
Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Attend Meetings of Creditors and liaise between creditors and debtors.
Assist with preparation of reports to creditors and minutes of meetings.
Deal with reporting under the Bankruptcy & Insolvency Act and Wage Earners Protection Act.
Coordinate with legal counsel, appraisal firms and other professionals.
Prepare billings for professional services and tax treatment of accounts.
Organize large projects and liaise with onsite staff or external professionals.
Manage and track section 246 reports in Receiverships.
