Job summary

BELFOR CANADA INC. is seeking a Project Manager to oversee emergency and restoration projects from start to finish, ensuring quality, budget, and schedule adherence.

You will assess sites, prepare estimates using Xactimate, and keep clients, adjusters, and consultants informed throughout the process. We value strong customer service, solid organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required; construction/restoration experience preferred.
• Experience with Xactimate, XactAnalysis, Encircle and DocuSketch is highly desirable.
• Strong customer service, communication and organizational abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage restoration projects from initiation to completion, ensuring quality, budget, and schedule compliance.
• Prepare estimates, floor plans, and documentation using Xactimate and other platforms.
• Maintain accurate project documentation in both internal and external systems.
• Secure work authorizations and deposits while ensuring scope, budget, and schedule adherence.
• Coordinate job activities, subcontractors, permits, and inspections for smooth project delivery.
• Communicate with clients, insurers, and stakeholders to provide updates and maintain strong relationships.
• Oversee project finances, including billing, collections, and compliance with insurance/legislative standards.
• Monitor compliance with insurance requirements and legislative standards.
• Ensure job site safety by conducting hazard assessments and enforcing PPE usage.
• Respond to emergencies to ensure timely and effective service delivery.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and feedback to team members to support successful project execution.
• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned.
