Job summary

BELFOR Property Restoration Canada is seeking a General Manager to drive branch performance, growth, and operational excellence. You will oversee multiple departments, lead a high-performing team, manage budgets, and strengthen client relationships across a national network.

With 5+ years in senior leadership within construction/restoration, you will shape strategy, ensure safety compliance, and deliver profitable outcomes while guiding project managers and cross-functional teams toward BELFOR’s

Qualifications

• 5+ years of senior leadership experience in construction, restoration, or insurance.
• Extensive experience in financial management, budgeting, and performance analysis.
• Strong strategic thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to engage internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and optimize operational systems, processes, and policies to achieve strategic goals.
• Collaborate with HR, Health & Safety, Marketing, Sales, and Finance to improve performance and ensure compliance.
• Oversee budgets, audits, and financial reviews to monitor branch profitability.
• Manage all projects, ensuring alignment with objectives, timelines, budgets, and profitability; guide Project Managers in scope and cost estimation.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team; set clear expectations and conduct performance evaluations.
• Identify and implement marketing strategies to drive revenue growth, productivity, and market share.
• Maintain a customer-focused approach, promptly address concerns, and strengthen long-term client relationships.
• Perform other responsibilities as required to support branch success.
