Job summary

Taco Time Canada in Victoria is seeking a hands-on team member for a fast-paced food service environment. The role includes establishing schedules, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring quality and safety standards while training teammates.

Qualifications

• 7 months to less than 1 year of related experience.
• Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Establish methods to meet work schedules.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures.
• Estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation.
• Hire food service staff.
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
• Address customers' complaints or concerns.
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage.
