Job summary

Nando’s is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in running a busy restaurant and developing a high-performing team. You will help manage costs, training, scheduling, and guest satisfaction while upholding Nando’s culture and standards.

You will conduct pre-shift meetings, coach staff, and ensure smooth daily operations. The role requires leadership, a hands-on approach, and the ability to adapt across responsibilities within the restaurant.

Qualifications

• Must have 3–5 years of managerial experience.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to use basic computer and internet tools for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist General Manager in running the restaurant, managing costs and developing a team.
• Lead pre-shift activities, line checks, cash management and safety procedures.
• Coach and develop Nandocas through one-on-one meetings and feedback.
• Hire, train and promote future leaders to ensure operations run smoothly.
• Maintain guest service standards and SOPs, monitor performance and drive results.
