Swiss Chalet in Dartmouth, NS is seeking a Restaurant Manager Trainee to join our team. The position is permanent, full-time, with compensation of $16.00 per hour for 35–40 hours per week. Start date as soon as possible.

This role focuses on learning operations, guest service, and team leadership in a busy restaurant environment. As a trainee you will gain experience in staff supervision, scheduling, health and safety compliance, marketing participation, and daily restaurant management.

Qualifications

  • Experience in hospitality management preferred.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years in a similar role.
  • Proven ability to supervise and train staff.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.

Responsabilités

  • Address customers' complaints or concerns.
  • Recruit, train and supervise staff.
  • Participate in marketing plans and implementation.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
  • Provide customer service.
  • Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance.
  • Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations.
