Job summary

Terroni Group in Toronto, Canada is seeking a passionate Restaurant Manager to lead the front-of-house team and deliver an authentic Italian dining experience. The role is full-time, based in Toronto, with an expected September 2026 start date.

You will manage service on the floor, collaborate with the General Manager, and perform scheduled admin duties. Candidates should have at least 2 years of FOH leadership in casual fine dining and enjoy a strong hospitality culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years Manager Experience in a Casual Fine Dining Restaurant.
• Ability to lead FOH teams and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with operational systems (TOAST, Clover, OpenTable, etc.).
• Italian language skills and wine knowledge are assets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate front-of-house staff on the dining floor to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Report to the General Manager and support financial and guest-experience goals.
• Maintain a visible floor presence and assist staff during service; handle administrative duties as assigned.
• Work predominantly evenings, including weekends and holidays, in a full-time role.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for a passionate and hospitality driven Restaurant Manager to join our exceptional team of hospitality leaders. Gruppo Terroni is the Industry leader when it comes to providing a traditional and authentic Italian culinary experience. Whether in our dining rooms or in our retail and café spaces we honour both tradition and innovation and focus on the delivery of exceptional products and experiences. It is the Manager who not only inspires and leads the location’s FOH team to consistently meet these standards of excellence but also exceed the expectations of our guests. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years FOH leadership experience which includes Manager experience in a full service casual fine dining restaurant and will be an Industry professional who possesses a genuine passion for hospitality. We are looking for an inspiring and self-motivated Manager who will bring a love for working on the floor leading and curating exceptional experiences for our guests. A strong appreciation for Italian food and culture is essential. Italian language skills and wine knowledge and/or certification are considered assets.

Description of Role:

The Restaurant Manager brings a love of working on the floor leading and motivating frontline staff to curate exceptional experiences for our guests. Reporting to the location General Manager, the Manager is a positive and communicative team player who works collaboratively to see the location succeed from both a financial perspective as well as from a guest experience perspective. With the majority of time spent maintaining a visible presence on the floor engaging with guests and supporting staff in delivering an experience that exceeds expectations, you will also perform various administrative duties as assigned by the GM. This is a fulltime position with variable shifts that are predominantly in the evening, including weekends and holidays.
