Job summary

Queens Harbour in Toronto is seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead daily front-of-house operations and guest experiences. You will oversee staff training, workflow efficiency, and quality control while supporting senior management in executing the restaurant's vision.

The role requires strong hospitality leadership, exceptional communication, and the ability to manage budgets and staff in a fast-paced MediterrAsian setting. On-site, full-time with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Education: College/CEGEP or related program.
  • Experience: 2–3 years in hospitality.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant's profits.
  • Adhere to the budget established for labour cost and cost of sales.
  • Monitor staff performance.
  • Plan, evaluate and organize daily operations.
  • Oversee floor management, refine workflows, and support inventory and POS system management.
  • Participate in recruiting of staff, training, and scheduling a high-performing team while providing coaching and performance feedback.
  • Provide support to the junior hierarchy including assistant managers and supervisors.
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms.
  • Enforce food safety, liquor laws, and workplace policies while maintaining necessary permits and staff certifications.
  • Resolve guest concerns.
  • Provide customer service while ensuring seamless service and maintaining high hospitality standards.
  • Support events.
  • Maintain clean and safe work environment.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned to match the business requirements.
