Job summary

White Spot in Victoria, BC is seeking a Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations, staff, and guest experience. The role requires hands-on leadership in a fast-paced restaurant, budget monitoring, scheduling, and compliance with health and safety standards.

You will recruit and train team members, balance cash reports, and contribute to marketing plans. The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of restaurant management experience, a secondary school certificate, and a Serving It Right and Food

• 2–3 years of experience in restaurant management.

Responsibilities

• Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant’s profits.
• Develop budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies.
• Monitor revenues to determine labour cost.
• Recruit staff.
• Set staff work schedules.
• Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms.
• Conduct performance reviews.
• Organize and maintain inventory.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
• Participate in marketing plans and implementation.
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns.
• Provide customer service.
• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations.
