Job Description

Your Role at Raising Cane’s :

The Restaurant Manager supports the Restaurant Leader in day-to-day operations, upholding Raising Cane’s standards and culture, and managing shifts in restaurant operations.

The physical work environment includes working in a fast-paced kitchen environment (which requires extended periods of physical exertion, such as walking, standing, lifting, and bending) and interacting with customers. It also involves both inside and outside work in varied temperatures, working with food products, common allergens, industrial equipment, and cleaning products that require personal protective equipment and physical activities.

Your Impact And Responsibilities

  • Ensure operations meet Raising Cane’s standards during a shift
  • Act as manager on duty, opening and closing the restaurant
  • Manage cash handling and ensure accountability
  • Enforce Raising Cane’s policies and standards
  • Execute shift management, ensuring safety and operational standards
  • Use required tools, forms, and logs to support shift execution and document results
  • Provide exemplary customer service
  • Utilize reward and recognition programs for crewmembers
  • Authorize employee functions requiring manager approval (e.g., discounts, promotions)
  • Ensure restaurant cleanliness and facility maintenance
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Requirements for Success :

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Self-driven, flexible, and highly energetic with strong communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Problem recognition, goal setting, and execution skills
  • Knowledge in staffing, scheduling, people, and cost management
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Ability to work various shifts including days, evenings, and weekends; willing to travel as needed
  • Completion of all required Raising Cane’s training programs
  • At least 1 year of restaurant or retail management experience
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
