Responsibilities
Tasks
- Analyze budgets to boost and maintain restaurant profits
- Develop budgets to determine costs of food, ingredients, alcohol, and supplies
- Evaluate daily operations
- Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the budget
- Monitor staff performance
- Plan and organize daily operations
- Train staff
- Determine and implement operational procedures and services
- Balance cash and complete financial reports
- Conduct performance reviews
- Cost products and services
- Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
- Organize and maintain inventory
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
- Negotiate with suppliers and clients
