Hays has partnered with a restaurant brand to find a Construction Project Manager to successfully manage the construction of new restaurant developments throughout Ontario and across Canada.
The core purpose of this Project Manager is to oversee projects from pre-construction to completion in line with the development plan. Responsibilities include managing new stores, renovations, and special projects, coordinating with the construction team, ensuring projects are on schedule, and maintaining standards. The role also involves managing project budgets, and communicating with the corporate platform internally as well as with subcontractors and contractors externally.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience managing construction projects in the restaurant or retail sectors, and possess a university or college degree in a related field. They should be able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, understand construction drawings, and manage all phases of construction. Experience in accounting principles for cost monitoring and budgeting, troubleshooting skills, conflict resolution, and being a team player are essential. A valid driver’s license and vehicle are required.
