Aftermarket SAP Migration Data Lead

Location: Longueuil, Quebec, Canada (CA-QC-LONGUEUIL-J01). Posted on 2026-05-15.

Overview

The role is part of the Pratt & Whitney Canada Data team supporting the oneRTX Process & Systems Transformation (PST) program, aimed at harmonizing processes and deploying SAP S/4HANA across RTX. Responsibilities include leading data migration activities for the O2C and R2R workstreams, ensuring data quality, mapping, cleansing, and validation for ERP implementation, while operating in an agile framework.

Responsibilities

• Own and steward migration of business‑critical data, ensuring accuracy and operational alignment.
• Conduct business‑driven data profiling, reviewing results to identify issues such as obsolete customer records or invalid material codes.
• Collaborate with DT Leads and Data Owners to define data quality rules, acceptable thresholds, and cleansing logic.
• Oversee data cleansing activities, validate actions, provide business context for corrections, and approve cleansed datasets.
• Guide legacy data mapping to SAP structures, enriching data with missing business attributes, and assist with data modeling and best‑practice application.
• Review migrated data in SAP S/4HANA, participate in functional testing, and formally sign off on data readiness after approval of relevant Business and Data Owners.
• Maintain integrations with boundary system databases (e.g., Data Lake).
• Educate business users on new data standards, support training, and promote a culture of data ownership.
• Maintain documentation of data processes, requirements, and outcomes, and provide regular reports and updates to stakeholders on progress and challenges.
• Monitor status of submitted user stories and data‑migration tasks, escalating activities to stakeholders as needed.
• Provide travel as required (15%–25% of time) to major RTX facilities in the United States.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10years of experience in business, digital, or related fields (or 7years with an advanced degree) and a bachelor’s or advanced degree.
• Proven experience in mapping business processes, process improvement, and training delivery.
• Strong project management capability and experience leading large, complex digital technology projects.
• Demonstrated influential leadership skills.
• At least one full‑cycle SAP S/4 implementation with data migration.
• Experience with ERP or system transformation.
• Strong technical experience in a complex SAP landscape.
• Experience with SQL, Databricks, SAP Business Warehouse or similar tools.
• Deep experience with SAP data, especially end‑to‑end data flows between data and business processes.
• Experience in customer service/after‑market environments.
• Familiarity with data cleansing and migration tools (e.g., SAP Advanced Data Migration (ADM), Transformation Cockpit).
• Proficiency with agile project management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, problem‑solving, and analytical skills, with system‑thinking and attention to detail.
• Understanding of RTX’s Core Operating System.
