Qualifications

• Expérience en soins critiques appréciée.
• Capacité d'arriver à l'aéroport de Rouyn-Noranda dans l'heure suivant un appel.
• Connaissance des communautés autochtones et de leurs dialectes (un atout).

Responsibilities

• Gérer les voies respiratoires des patients en collaboration avec le personnel médical.
• Surveiller les signes vitaux et appliquer les prescriptions médicales.
• Participer à toutes les étapes du transfert de patients.

YOUR ROLE

• Manage patients' airways in collaboration with medical staff when required;
• Monitor vital signs and implement medical prescriptions for patients on BiPAP and CPAP ventilation;
• Operate the Hamilton T1 ventilator;
• Document notes in patient files;
• Implement isolation measures;
• Participate in all stages of patient transfer.
  
  

Qualifications And Requirements

• Be a member of the Ordre Professionnel des Inhalothérapeutes du Québec (OPIQ);
• Experience in critical care (an asset);
• Be available to arrive at the Rouyn-Noranda airport within one hour of being called for a mission.
