Overview

The Workforce Optimization (Resource Management) team is a vital part of KPMG’s National Audit Operations, focusing on centralization, standardization, and automation to support audit engagement teams. Workforce Optimization aims to standardize and optimize resources for our firm, clients, and staff.

The Resource Management Technology Manager will support business applications related to resource management, accreditation, Audit Quality Controls, capacity management, and key metrics. This role involves collaboration with IT, the Department of Professional Practice, end-users, and project teams, providing expert-level support to maximize the use of Workforce Management tools.

This position requires a mix of technical skills and leadership to drive tool implementation and enhancement. Creativity, questioning, and challenging the status quo are essential qualities.

What You Will Do
  1. Build reports integrating tools like eQualify, GLMS, Retain, and CEAC.
  2. Coordinate and develop User Acceptance Testing for new or enhanced tools.
  3. Serve as the primary liaison among end-users, IT support, the Department of Professional Practice, and project teams.
  4. Analyze and recommend changes to business processes and data flows.
  5. Improve procedures and documentation, ensuring control compliance.
  6. Participate in system implementations, analyzing requirements and providing recommendations.
  7. Maintain Audit Workforce Tools, manage statements of work, and follow up on issues.
  8. Identify pain points, improve processes, and update documentation.
  9. Provide first-level support for Workforce Tools, escalating as necessary.
  10. Administer applications, including access control and reporting.
  11. Suggest enhancements to IT, prioritizing requests.
  12. Solve complex technical problems and propose solutions.
  13. Collaborate with the RPA team for process automation.
  14. Build strong relationships and communicate proactively across teams.
  15. Assist with report development and execution, especially using PowerBI.
What You Bring To The Role

  • Leadership in requirement walkthroughs with stakeholders and technical teams.

This role requires fluency in English for collaboration and support within KPMG.

KPMG BC Region Pay Range

The salary range is $73,000 to $109,500, possibly with bonuses. Actual salary depends on skills, location, and qualifications. KPMG offers a comprehensive Total Rewards program.
