Job summary

Naturally Pacific Resort in Campbell River, BC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform a range of repair and maintenance tasks to keep facilities in optimal condition. The role includes HVAC, pool systems, electrical and plumbing upkeep, and routine inspections of generators and life-safety equipment.

Applicants should have two years of maintenance experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a maintenance or repair role.
• Ability to troubleshoot a variety of technical and mechanical issues autonomously.
• Strong time management with the ability to work independently.
• Ability to assess safety risks and respond appropriately.
• Trades certificate is an asset.
• Experience in at least two areas: pool operations, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry or engineering.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor repairs and adjustments to building fabric and related systems.
• Maintain HVAC systems, boilers, swimming pools, pumps, and cooling towers.
• Repair building plumbing and electrical systems and fixtures.
• Conduct routine inspections on emergency generators and life safety equipment.
• Maintain and repair pool systems and test water chemistry per health authority requirements.
• Log and monitor pumps and filters; report deficiencies and adjust as needed.
• Follow safety procedures during all repairs and maintenance; coordinate with supervisor.
