What You Will Do
- Maintain thorough knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act and Company policies to ensure they’re always adhered to.
- Oversee and operate the properties within the financial guidelines outlined in the annual operating budgets.
- Review other financial reports including accounts receivable and ensure the necessary legal steps have been taken for any delinquent payments.
- Supervise and manage a team of onsite staff including resident caretakers, maintenance technicians and others.
- Ensure all personnel respond to resident requests, complaints, and or emergencies in a timely and courteous manner.
- Conduct weekly inspections of the properties to make sure they’re operating at a high standard and meet company guidelines.
- Keep organized and up to date records on building and or tenant related issues.
- Supervise and coordinate all building service requests and or capital improvements necessary.
- Prepare market analysis and research which allows you to stay current on rental rates and consumer trends.
- Implement marketing strategies and other initiatives that will generate qualified traffic for available rental units.
- Audit and review tenancy-related documents completed by onsite staff.
What You Will Bring
- 2+ years experience as Property Manager of a multi-family community is preferred
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Great communication skills both written and orally
- Clean driver’s license and access to a vehicle
