Job summary

InterRent is seeking a temporary full-time Cleaner in London, Ontario, to uphold high cleanliness and safety standards across our properties. The role involves maintenance of grounds, comprehensive cleaning of common areas, and periodic apartment servicing, with weekend shifts a must.

The position is 12-14 months long with compensation of $18.00–$19.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Some locations may require own transportation; AI screening may be used in recruiting.

Qualifications

• Relevant transferable skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Ability to follow health and safety guidelines and company procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining building grounds and common areas in clean and orderly condition.
• Cleaning residential building floors (sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming).
• Servicing, cleaning and supplying restrooms with required toiletries.
• Adhering to weekly cleaning schedule within surrounding properties.
• Cleaning and maintaining vacant apartments on a periodic basis.
• Performing daily inspections in all common areas.
• Following safety procedures with chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent accidents.
• Removing snow or debris from walkways and sidewalks.
• Applying snow melting chemicals around property when required.
• Notifying management about needed repairs or additions to building systems.
• Removing rubbish and debris from ground and property.
• Carrying out landscaping duties as required.
• Performing other duties as required.
