Job summary

Anderson Heating and Gasfitting Ltd. in Edmonton, AB, seeks a Plumber/HVAC Technician for full-time, on-site work installing, maintaining, and repairing residential plumbing, heating, and HVAC systems.

You will troubleshoot issues, perform inspections, and ensure all work meets safety codes. You'll interact with customers, explain options, and keep accurate service records, working both independently and with a team to deliver reliable service.

Qualifications

Strong plumbing skills, including installation, troubleshooting, and repair.
Experience with pipes, fittings, and related tools.
HVAC and heating system maintenance with a focus on preventative care.
Commitment to high-quality customer service and professional conduct.
Trade certification in plumbing and/or HVAC; gasfitting certification an asset.
Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to Edmonton area.
Ability to lift and move equipment and work safely with hand/power tools.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair plumbing, heating, and HVAC systems in residential properties.
Troubleshoot system issues and perform routine inspections.
Complete piping and fixture installations with adherence to code requirements.
Explain service options and provide clear recommendations to customers.
