Symmetry Electric Inc. is seeking a qualified 2nd- or 3rd-year electrical apprentice with strong residential experience to join our growing team in Ottawa and the Outaouais.

The candidate should be committed to the electrical industry, take pride in workmanship, and approach each job with a problem-solving mindset. Responsibilities include residential service upgrades, panel replacements, generator installations and EV charger work.

Qualifications

• Registered 2nd- or 3rd-year electrical apprentice with valid Skilled Trades Ontario number.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Strong residential electrical experience.
• Own basic hand tools.
• Dependable, punctual and professional with clients.

Responsibilities

• Residential service upgrades and panel replacements.
• Generator and transfer-switch installations.
• Residential renovations and new construction.
• Troubleshooting and service work.
• EV chargers, subpanels and dedicated circuits.
• Reading electrical drawings and following the Canadian Electrical Code.
• Producing clean, organized and code-compliant work.
