Job summary

AB Weeping Tiles in Edmonton, AB is seeking a Home Building Contractor to lead residential renovation and new home projects. You will coordinate with customers, architects, and engineers to ensure plans meet specifications, supervise daily operations, and manage a project budget. The position requires a high school diploma, 2–3 years of experience, a valid driver’s license, steel-toed boots, and the ability to work outdoors in diverse conditions.

Qualifications

• Secondary/high school graduation required.
• 2+ years of experience in construction/contracting or related field.
• Willing to relocate; relocation costs not covered by employer.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive manual transmission.
• Steel-toed safety boots required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with customers to discuss plans and specifications.
• Work with architects to ensure plans meet requirements.
• Assist engineers to ensure plans are feasible and compliant.
• Prepare directories and logs; maintain directory of supplies and trades.
• Plan and organize daily operations; supervise on-site activities.
• Inspect work to ensure quality and conformity with plans and specifications.
• Obtain construction permits and develop health and safety plans.
• Manage budgetary responsibilities and work across residential renovation sites.
