Job summary

Akash Homes in Edmonton, Alberta, seeks a Site Superintendent to oversee residential construction from excavation to possession. You will manage daily site activity, coordinate trades and suppliers, and ensure homes meet quality and safety standards while staying on schedule.

You’ll lead multiple homes at varying stages, resolve on-site issues quickly, and maintain strong communication with drafting, estimating, sales and customer experience teams.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising residential construction sites.
• Strong knowledge of Alberta Building Code and safety standards.
• Ability to manage multiple homes at different stages of construction.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for site travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of residential construction from excavation through possession.
• Coordinate trades, suppliers and inspections to maintain build schedules.
• Monitor job sites for code compliance and OH&S requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections and address deficiencies proactively.
• Oversee pre-possession walkthroughs and post-possession deficiency work.
• Maintain clear communication with internal teams (Drafting, Estimating, Sales).
• Represent Akash Homes professionally with homeowners, trades and inspectors.
• Maintain clean, safe worksites across active projects.
