Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Gas Fitter 1 or 2 license or Plumbing License required.
• 5–10 years of experience with residential boilers.
• Journeyman Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair residential boiler systems, including hydronic heating and radiant heating.
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and seasonal tune-ups.
• Troubleshoot defective boiler and hydronic systems.
• Work with components such as pumps, valves, thermostats, expansion tanks, and zone controls.
• Ensure compliance with ABSA regulations, local codes, and manufacturer specifications.
• Handle customer concerns, questions, or problems professionally and communicate clearly to homeowners.
• Maintain accurate service records, invoices, and work orders.
• Respond to emergency service calls, including after-hours when required.
• Follow all company safety procedures and Alberta OHS standards.

Education
