Job summary

Baptist Housing is seeking a casual Resident Services Assistant for Hallmark on the Park and Hallmark on the Lake in Abbotsford, BC. You will provide professional reception services, support resident needs, and assist with onboarding and records management.

The role requires excellent interpersonal skills, confidentiality, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a busy environment. Compensation includes an hourly wage of CA$18.25–CA$19.24, with part-time status and a focus on resident

Qualifications

• Secondary school graduation required.
• Emergency First Aid – Community Care training or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as Resident Services Assistant or similar role.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of basic billing practices is a plus.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional reception services, answering inquiries from residents and visitors.
• Respond to resident medical emergencies by contacting 911 as needed.
• Maintain office duties: photocopying, faxing, filing, ordering supplies, and equipment upkeep.
• Create and manage documents and spreadsheets using Word/Excel.
• Facilitate new resident onboarding and manage logistics like files, lockers, parking and keys.
• Maintain confidential resident database and tenancy records; prepare monthly census reports for billing.
