Job summary

Colonial Group in Edmonton, Canada seeks a Resident Manager to ensure safe, comfortable living for members and to oversee site upkeep and tenant relations.

The role requires hands-on maintenance, rent collection and strong customer service skills, with flexibility to work evenings and weekends. You will coordinate contractors, manage inventories and handle administrative tasks on tablets as part of daily operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years customer service experience.
• Post-secondary education is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the health, comfort and safety of our Resident Members.
• Be versatile, hands-on with cleaning and maintenance tasks and take ownership of the site.
• Flexible schedule and be available to work evenings and weekends.
• Ensure daily communication with all site Associates.
• Collect rent and follow up on defaults.
• Ensure vacancy and budget are realized for each site by resident service to customers.
• Inspections of vacant and upcoming suites.
• Lease and show suites.
• Ensure rental inquiries are answered within guidelines.
• Annual suite inspections.
• Prepare and deliver bank deposits.
• Administrative duties including processing paperwork for site and Associates.
• Ensure contractors arrive on schedule and complete work as required.
• Inventory management.
• Snow removal as required.
• Cleaning as required.
• Touch-up painting as required.
• Complete all required administration for the position on a tablet.
• Complete other tasks assigned by the Leader.
