Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma in recreation and leisure studies or related field.
• Long term care experience.
• Smart serve and Food Handler certificates.
• CPIC with vulnerable sector screening may be required.
• Class F license or ability to obtain within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Develop meaningful and authentic therapeutic recreation programs with a resident-centered approach.
• Monitor and document resident engagement and outcomes.
• Evaluate activities offered and adapt programs as needed.
• Work weekends and evenings to meet program needs.
