Job summary

PLEA Community Services Society of BC in Maple Ridge, BC is seeking a Regular Full-Time Residence Coordinator on the Lighthouse team. The role supervises day-to-day resource operations and staff, and helps shape program policies, with a 40-hour workweek Sun-Thu and flextime including on-call emergencies.

The position requires a two-year diploma in a related field and at least three years of related experience including supervisory exposure.

Qualifications

• Two-year diploma in a related human/social work field.
• Three years recent, related experience including one year supervisory or administrative experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and evaluate the resource's goals, objectives, policies and procedures, ensuring standards are met.
• Schedule, supervise and evaluate staff and monitor daily operations; assist in recruiting and staff development.
• Provide leadership and participate in planning client plans, case conferencing, and documentation.
• Coordinate with community, government, families and professionals to promote involvement.
• Ensure safety, security and maintenance of the resource per licensing standards.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and support Youth Care Worker duties as needed.
