Job description

Our client, a high-end private brand property on Vancouver Island, BC, is searching for a Reservations Manager. As Reservations Manager, you will be responsible for creating rate plans, loading rates into the property management system, and working with the Rooms Division Manager to boost occupancy and the average room rate. You will liaise with the General Manager and Sales team to ensure maximum occupancy on the day.

Key responsibilities :
  1. Maintain in-house reservation systems
  2. Liaise with travel agents, the revenue manager, and the rooms division manager
  3. Identify new revenue opportunities
  4. Ensure collaboration with the best third-party vendors
  5. Assist the sales team in setting rates
  6. Coordinate with central reservations to communicate new rate plans and promotions
  7. Maintain a neat, professional, and well-groomed appearance
  8. Work effectively under stressful situations, managing multiple tasks
  9. Apply strong analytical skills
  10. Implement ECommerce strategies
  11. Exhibit good organizational and time management skills
  12. Maintain a positive attitude and outgoing personality
