Job summary

U-Haul is hiring a Reservation Manager Agent to join the Traffic Control team. The role centers on supporting customers, field teams, and U-Haul dealerships through reservation placement and equipment distribution.

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, with emphasis on accuracy, teamwork, and excellent service. This is a full-time on-site position based in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with multiline phones, word processing, and email.
• Proficient in customer service, time management and multitasking.
• French language not required but considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist with calls from and to customers.
• Support field team members and U-Haul dealerships with equipment and reservations, directing equipment to meet demand and balance inventory.
• Review reports to optimize equipment availability and reservation accuracy.
• Assist with the U-Box portable storage product.

Responsibilities

• Assist with calls from and to customers.


• Help support field team members and U-Haul dealerships with equipment and reservation management and placement, while directing incoming customers' equipment to areas based on customer demand and productivity status in order to help balance regional market inventory levels to meet future demand.


• Review reports that aid in effective placement of equipment, customer reservations and contracts that support creating equipment availability and accuracy.


• Assist with the Company's U-Box portable storage product.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent


• Working knowledge of office equipment such as multiline phones, phone etiquette, Word and email


• Proficient in customer service, time management and multitasking


• French Speaker not required but considered asset

Company History

Since 1945, U-Haul has been serving do-it-yourself movers and their households. Like many other successful ventures, the concept for U-Haul was generated out of need. U-Haul co-founders L.S. \"Sam\" Shoen and his wife, Anna Mary Carty Shoen, recognized that need and acted upon it.
