Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. is seeking a part-time Reservation Manager Agent in the Halifax area. This role focuses on supporting customers, field teams and dealerships with reservation placement and equipment distribution to balance regional inventory.

You will review reports, coordinate equipment allocation and assist with the U-Box product, while maintaining high standards of service. The position emphasizes teamwork, fast-paced environment, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of office equipment such as multiline phones, phone etiquette, Word and email.
• Proficient in customer service, time management and multitasking.
• French language is an asset but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with calls from and to customers.
• Support field team members and U-Haul dealerships with equipment and reservation management and placement, directing equipment to areas based on demand and productivity to balance regional inventory.
• Review reports to aid in equipment placement, reservations and contracts for availability and accuracy.
• Assist with U-Box portable storage product.

• Assist with calls from and to customers.
• Help support field team members and U-Haul dealerships with equipment and reservation management and placement, while directing incoming customers' equipment to areas based on customer demand and productivity status in order to help balance regional market inventory levels to meet future demand.
• Review reports that aid in effective placement of equipment, customer reservations and contracts that support creating equipment availability and accuracy.
• Assist with the Company’s U-Box portable storage product.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Working knowledge of office equipment such as multiline phones, phone etiquette, Word and email
• Proficient in customer service, time management and multitasking
• French Speaker not required but considered asset

Since 1945, U-Haul has been serving do-it-yourself movers and their households. Like many other successful ventures, the concept for U-Haul was generated out of need.
